Unimog ist ein Produktname, abgeleitet von "Universal Motor Gerät", erstmals eingesetzt in der deutschen Landwirtschaft nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Einen Unimog kann man durch seinen Vierradantrieb sowohl als Traktor als auch auf der Strasse einsetzen, daher das "Universal" im Namen. Da ein Unimog etwas grösser als ein Jeep oder SUV ist, dürfte es immer schwierig werden passende Parkplätze zu finden. Interessantes Detail: Ein "Unimog" ist auch im Britischen und im Amerikanischen ein "Unimog". Außerdem reimt sich "Unimog" auf "Anuok".
